Join us as we welcome back Eugene favorite Calvin Orlando Smith for an unforgettable evening celebrating the music of Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Melissa Manchester and James Taylor. With an extensive career spanning Broadway, national tours, and international stages, Calvin has performed alongside icons like Cathy Rigby, Oscar winner JK Simmons, and Garth Brooks, and made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2022. Don’t miss this remarkable artist's performance as he brings the magic of these artists' music to life.

Calvin Orlando Smith made his Broadway debut at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater as CECCO in Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby and Oscar winner JK Simmons as 'Hook', after Peter Pan received two Tony Award nominations for BEST ACTRESS (Cathy Rigby) and BEST REVIVAL, Calvin returned to Broadway's Minskoff Theater to complete the run, around the nation and internationally with the hit musical.

Other credits include: Colonel in the Broadway international tour of Evita starring Valerie Perri, Donna Marie Asbury and John Herrera, Steward in the national tour of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes starringMorgan Fairchild, Debbie Shapiro & John O'Hurley, My Fair Lady starring Victoria Mallory, The Venticello in The Alliance Theater's Amadeus, costarring as Oliver Hix in Theater of The Stars' productions of Music Man with John Davidson & Christine Andreas, Big Moe in Five Guys Named Moe, Horse in The Full Monty, the Purple Snail in the world premiere of Pinocchio, J.P. Williamson in the world premiere of Duke Ellington's Saturday’s Laughter at Atlanta's Fox Theater; The Today Show with Jane Pauley, R.E.M.'s video 'The Finest Work Song' directed by Michael Stipe, The Disney Channel's Coming On directed by Ian Bernard, and The United Cerebral Palsy Telethonstarring Dennis James, Ben Vereen and Florence Henderson and The New Kids on the Block at The Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. Heart Strings: A Revival, starring Oscar winner Isaac Hayes and Ruth Buzzi at Atlanta's Fox theater, and Theater of The Stars' National tour of My Fair Lady starring Marla Schaffel, direct from Broadway's Jane Eyre. Recently in San Francisco, "Doc" the most happy fella, "old Deuteronomy" CATS, "Buffalo Bill Cody" Annie get your gun, "Roger Debris" The Producers, "Miles Gloriosus" A funny thing happened on the way to the forum, "Zoser" AIDA. and for the Maui Academy of the performing arts, "Captain Phoebus DeMartin" hunchback of Notre Dame, "man two" Songs of a New World, in Hawaii's first professional live streamed theatrical production. Calvin holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in History of Art & Architecture from Hughes Hall, Cambridge University and is a graduate of the University of Georgia, completing his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History of Art at Keble College, Oxford University, England.

Recently, Mr. Smith sung back up for Garth Brooks and made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2022 in Brahms Requiem. In 2023 Mr. Smith introduced B52s at their last tour show in Athens, Georgia, and this past April, Calvin had the honor to sing for both diplomat Deputies from the Ukraine and Norway for the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kampala, Uganda In 2023, and in March of 2025, Calvin once again sang for the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Brasilia, Brazil.
