Rare Mezcal Tasting and Education Class

River Hawkins, one of the world's most passionate authorities on mezcal is leading a rare spirits tasting in Eugene, OR. Participants will taste eleven different agave distillates ranging from Tequila to rare wild agave Mezcal, Sotol and Raicilla. Over the course of two hours, River will lead you through the spirit's history, mythology, cultural relevance and process giving you all the knowledge you need to embrace this national treasure of Mexico and North America's first distilled spirit.
