About the event

Pruning: Grapes & Fig Trees
Join the Lane County Master Gardener Pruning Specialists as they teach participants techniques to prune grapes and fig trees at the Whiteaker Community Garden. The Whiteaker Community Garden is located at the end of North Polk St and the bike path in Eugene.

Classes are presented by trained OSU Master Gardener Pruning Specialists! They will cover proper pruning equipment, important pruning principles and best times to prune. They are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you and want your class experience to be fun, as well as educational. You do not need to bring pruning tools (unless noted) to the classes, but you might want to bring your camera for pictures.

We are a hardy bunch, so classes will be held rain, shine or snow, so dress accordingly.
