- **Event Description**: Lane AABSS is inviting African American and Black Families of students of all ages and grade levels in Lane County to attend Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art located at 1430 Johnson Lane, Eugene, OR 97403. It's FREE to attend!

Families will have access to all exhibits and collections. 

Students and their parent/guardians are able to enter the museum starting at noon on January 7, 2023. 

Be sure to stop by the art studio for a curated art project just for our group and to pick up your scavenger hunt worksheet. A take home craft will also be provided to all youth. 

The museum will be open until 5:00 p.m.

**A scavenger hunt worksheet will be provided to attendees as an optional activity for students and parents to complete while at the museum. Those that complete and submit the worksheet will automatically receive FREE tickets to our Sneaker Ball event on Saturday, February 18, 2023 6-9 pm at Lane Events Center**

Large totes and bags are discouraged from being brought to the museum. All coats and bags will be stored away while visiting the museum exhibits.

**Parking for guests can be either at any street parking spot, we suggest Kinkaid at 14th or 15th or in the UO lot at Kinkaid and 14th street. That parking lot is free on Saturdays, the on-street parking is $2 per hour on Saturdays, but there is additional paid on University street as well, not too far of a walk.  The JSMA is a short walk from Kinkaid, about 4 minutes from the lot.**

**If any one in your party has any symptoms of illness prior to date of event or any visible signs of illness on the day of the event they will not be permitted to attend the event even if RSVP**

**Masks are optional, but strongly encouraged.**
