At Healthy Kids Day, children and families will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of healthy eats, nutrition and physical activity, mental and emotional well-being and developing healthy habits.
Celebrated each spring, Healthy Kids Day is a place for kids to be kids! Fun events, games, activities, group exercise and youth class demonstrations, healthy snacks, contests and prizes, local vendors and community partner booths and so much more are all free and open to the community.

Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Eugene Family YMCA's Don Stathos Campus—600 E. 24th Ave.
Cost: FREE!
Parking: On-site parking is limited. Please bike or walk if you can. Extra parking is available at South Eugene High School.
🚲 May is BIKE MONTH in Eugene, and this is going to be the most bike-friendly Healthy Kids Day yet! Shift Community Cycles will lead a fun (family-friendly!) group bike ride from Tugman Park to the event. Hop on your bike and meet near the play structure at 9:30 a.m. Cascadia Mobility will be offering free bike valet at Healthy Kids Day and Shift Community Cycles will be doing free bike tune-ups at their pop-up bike repair shop! Plus, bring your bike month passport and get a sticker from Lane Council of Governments!

Getting to Healthy Kids Day
We encourage you to use active transportation if you can! Here are some great ways to get to the event:
- Ride Your Bike
- Join Shift's Bike Buddy Ride at Tugman Park at 9:30 a.m.
- Walk, scooter or take the bus
- Park at South Eugene High School and walk two blocks down Patterson to the Y. Parking at the Don Stathos Campus is limited.
Bonus: Anyone who uses active transportation to get to Healthy Kids Day, or parks at South Eugene High School will receive a free Y day pass at the event!
