Whalecum back to the dumbest Gambler run in all of February in Lame county! We will be doing the same super confusing terrible horrible 2 day start setup for the early cummers! Start point is 44.0705328114812, -123.1428702028059 and start will be from 6-9am on Feb Friday the 13th (ooooh, spoopy) and Saturday the 14th.
Now the hard part that nobody seems to grasp, you are welcome to start there either day and get to camp Friday night or Saturday night, there will be another entire route leaving from camp the next day and will be local to camp and will be the trashiest of the routes. If you leave Saturday, and get to camp Saturday night and want to run the local trash route on Sunday, GO FOR IT! You are welcome to camp Sunday night as well.
Friday is a self start day and the employees at O'Reilly's will have waypoint sheets and swag for y'all, inquire within the store.
Saturday morning at the start, you get to see my silly sleep deprived face and the curliest of butts greeting you and sending you off!
The Amazing Jen Larsen has volunteered to cook dinner for everybody on Saturday evening, Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup and Hot Dog bar! Glizzy Gang unite! And breakfast Sunday Morning, usual breakfast stuff. If you would like to contribute, feel free to bring sides or foods to put out with the provided food. I am down to 2 bottles of Malort, so, might have to bring some BYOM! We will have drag racing and there is woods behind the camp and mini bikes are welcome as long as we don't tear up the pits or property at the speedway.
As per tradition, nobody is willing to deliver dumpsters to camp and me having to haul all the collected trash by myself the week after is getting old, we will have some organization to the trash piles, we would like to separate the tires into one pile, metal into another pile and trash into another pile. We will put signs up at the dump spot.
If you want to run straight to camp before the event and roll up with us to the start on Saturday morning or just hang out there all weekend, hit me up for coordinates and you are more than welcome to do so!
The event is free, donations to the chef are welcome!
