In 2003 Bill began studying Portuguese and singing Brazilian music. In 2004 he released his first CD, ‘LETTING GO’, a mix of Brazilian vocals and original instrumentals and shortly after established his own label, AXIAL RECORDS. As he continued to study the language of Brazil, travel to Brazil and learn more music from that culture he also began to write his own lyrics in Portuguese. In 2010 he released the CD ‘BRAZIL BEAT’, comprised completely of original music and his Portuguese lyrics. He followed that in 2011 with the release of ‘BUZIOS’, also all original.
His music has been used in film and television productions by Warner Brothers, CBS, Fox and Netflix. Bill continues to perform with his jazz trio and quartet but has also established his band BILL BEACH & BRASIL BEAT to focus on the music of Brazil and his own original songs written in Portuguese.

Christoph is a cofounder of the Eugene Hard Bop Collective and also performs regularly with Nancy Hamilton, Bob Ragan’s “Slightly Retro Jazz”, Jazz Symbiosis and Canadian jazz guitarist R. Allan Vance. While still living in Germany, Christoph had the fortune to study Jazz bass with “European monster bassist” (T. Conrad) Dieter Ilg (EchoJazz bass award 2011/14/16). Once in Oregon, he continued refining his skills by participating in festival-attending UO combos directed by Steve Owen, Gary Versace and Toby Koenigsberg.
