π Over the past two decades, communities across Europe have been reclaiming vacant buildings and abandoned sites, transforming them into urban commons, cultural spaces, shelters, and places of care. These initiatives act as living laboratories, where care for people, communities, and the environment takes root in fragile yet inventive ways.
πΈ The exhibition πππ«π’π§π ππ¨π« ππ©πππ, ππ©πππ ππ¨π« πππ«π’π§π brings together photography and video to capture such spaces. From Athens, Kamza, Marseille, BihaΔ, and Brussels, we showcase stories of reclaimed heritage buildings, refugee shelters, artist compounds, and rewilded brownfields.
These works highlight how occupation and transformation become acts of care, resisting privatization and opening up possibilities for a more collective urban future β an enduring testimony that other worlds are possible. π±
