Join our free vegan and ethically minded networking group, a heart centred space for founders and anyone building brands, products or platforms, or looking to grow a working network and meaningful connections.
🌲🎅🏻 Christmas is a time when more animals are exploited, and the season becomes full of excess and waste. We are coming together to uplift one another, stay aligned with our vegan values and celebrate a more conscious, compassionate and gratitude filled Christmas.
Together we reconnect with the true meaning of the season: kindness, gratitude, peace and care for all beings, human and non human alike.
We will reflect on 2025 and how it was for our businesses and also discuss what we would like to achieve in 2026 and how we can all help each other get there!
🌲🎅🏻 Ethical / Eco Secret Santa: bring a wrapped gift that is something you no longer need, or something handmade or upcycled, to share the joy sustainably.
🎁 If your business has a product, bring it along for people to possibly purchase as a gift for a friend.

Whether you have an established business or are just beginning your ethical journey, EMU is a monthly space to connect, grow, and collaborate with like-minded others. This aims to be a supportive circle where you're seen, encouraged, and inspired.
We plan to meet up on the 3rd Thursday of each month (excluding January) to help each other's businesses grow!
Bring your business cards and promo materials.
🐱 There will be a gentle structure to the meet-ups, including a 6-minute introduction to you and your business, occasional guest speakers, a shared topic for discussion, and time to simply get to know each other. And of course, this will be an open and welcoming space to talk about our beloved pets too.
The group is in it's early stage, so we are excited to see where it takes us. So please share around!
We also recommend that you help your fellow EMU's with referrals and support where you can.

🐾 A note about the founder of the EMU initiative:
Created by Emma French, a vegetarian for 35 years and vegan for 12, who has a heartfelt belief that conscious business owners collaborating more closely can make a meaningful difference in supporting the bigger picture of animal welfare.
Emma brings 30 years of experience running a successful graphic design and events business, along with extensive experience leading workshops and meditation groups. She spent 15 years as a transpersonal counsellor and art therapist, combining creativity with deep insight into personal growth.
Emma is a member of the Animal Justice Party and passionately works to find homes for abandoned pets while promoting animal welfare and bringing awareness to animal exploitation. She also previously ran a business networking group called The Dreamcatchers; helping like-minded professionals connect and grow, as well as leading workshops such as Back on Track and Ignite Your Vision.
