Kisha Martin, Special guest speaker
Kisha Martin was born and raised in the City of Detroit. After suffering sexual abuse as a child, she went down a path that led to an unplanned pregnancy and abortion. A post-abortive support group helped her learn that she was not being punished and she was not alone. She is a dedicated professional community advocate, currently serving as the Director M.O.M., of ICU Birth Choice Mobile Detroit. She started Manicure for Mankind, a 501c(3) in the city of Detroit. Since 2023, Kisha has also been a practicing Doula, providing support to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journeys. Kisha hopes to bring a message of hope and healing to others who have experienced sexual abuse and abortion.
