Grounding anger through clay

Do you like to get your hands dirty? Then you are in the right place!

In this hands-on workshop, we will exploring anger and rage through clay. The workshop will be divided into three parts:

1. Mindful movements and intentional actions with the clay to get in the proper headspace.
2. Psychoeducation-where we learn about what anger is and have a guided discussion about how to deal with it
3. Cool down - where we process everything we learned and share tips and experiences about how to manage anger in our everyday lives

Come prepared to get a little dirty and have tough discussions about managing emotions.

Sveta is an active volunteer with MIELI Without Borders and activity organizer who enjoys hands-on creative projects and supporting safe spaces for people to connect.

She is a certified TOIVO facilitator and KOTU trained.

Haley is a mental health professional who specializes with working with vulnerable groups, such as former inmates, refugees, immigrants, and others. She has worked in the mental health and human rights space for the last 10 years.
