Modern-Day Castaway Film Screening & Talk with Outback Mike

The film is about Michael Atkinson’s solo survival journey up the Great Barrier Reef in a homemade dugout canoe to escape the historic predicament of a real-life 1846 shipwreck survivor. It’s 1 hour 25 minutes, followed by a 25 minute talk from Mike about what happened behind-the-scenes and the challenges of filming and starving at the same time.

The canoe will be on display.

Rating of ‘M’ for coarse Language (all swearing justified in Mike’s opinion).
