SAFDA 10th Anniversary Celebration - Imbizo

Established on 25 November 2015, SAFDA was born out of a confluence of historical injustices, economic hardships, and a resolute demand for black farmers to reclaim their place in South Africa’s sugar industry. By amplifying marginalized voices and challenging entrenched power structures, SAFDA has represented a critical step toward agrarian justice and economic inclusion in a sector still grappling with its past.

Now, as SAFDA celebrates its 10th anniversary, it is a moment not only to reflect on these achievements but also to chart a way forward in championing inclusive growth and prosperity.

SAFDA will bring together over 10 000 farmers at Gingindlovu Sports Ground to mark this key milestone.
