Republican Candidate Forum - SDBOS D5 & CA State Senate 40

The Escondido Republican Women are hosting a candidate forum on Wednesday, May 21st, from 11 am to 1:30 pm, where Republican candidate for California’s 40th State Senate District, San Marcos Councilman Ed Musgrove will join our organization to discuss his campaign platform.

Republican candidates for San Diego’s 5th Supervisor District: Vista Mayor John Franklin and San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones will discuss their campaign platform as well.

Republican candidate for State Senate District 40 Kristie Bruce-Lane was also invited to speak but has been unresponsive.

The California 2026 Primary Election is on June 2nd, 2026.

To attend the forum, individuals can RSVP on the Escondido Republican Women’s website at www.escondidorepublicanwomen.com. The event provides an opportunity for the community to meet the Republican candidates seeking their vote in 2026.
