This skill-building and in-depth workshop explores Ableton Live as a tool for creative experimentation, composition and performance. With a focus on Ableton Live’s most expressive and playful features — from MIDI Effects and Racks to Max For Live and generative techniques — the workshop empowers musicians, artists and music producers to unlock new ways of making and producing music. The workshop consists of short teaching segments (20 - 30min) with immediate hands-on practice (20 - 30min), allowing ideas to sink in through real-time exploration and creative experimentation.
Who It’s For:
The workshop is for intermediate to advanced producers, sound designers, performers or experimental artists who are comfortable with music production basics and want to push their creativity and sonic skills further. This workshop is for those who already know their way around Ableton Live’s basics — tracks, clips, devices, and the essential tools that make music happen (to be checked with ELPHNT).
