The GET OUT marks the end of each Squatfabrik residency. It's the moment when the audience can experience, discover and discuss the work - or the reflection of work - made during the residency month.
For this first Squatfabrik with Raphaël Adams & Ren Loren Britton, the Get Out will take place on MAY 2nd, in the Galerie Terres Rouges at 6:30pm.
🔶 REN LOREN BRITTON (USA/DE)
Coalition Constellations: "Stars Look Different Tonight” is an ongoing multimedia installation combining sculpture, video, and audio. Ren Loren Britton interviewed colleagues at the intersection of disability justice, trans* and intersex experiences, star constellations, and abolitionist dreaming. These interviews are woven into an audio track placed among the stars, exploring how these relationships are conceptualized and what forms of liberation or oppression are active. The project aims to rename constellations to honor trans* and disabled communities, with constellations like TIA (Trans Intersex Agender), a constellation for Njudine, and others.
🔶 RAPHAËL ADAMS (LU/IR)
In a society without constraints around love and intimacy, what would our new values and practices be? "A Dream of Courting" is a space to reflect on past, present, and future love and intimacy, and how these concepts could evolve in a new world. This project seeks to create an alternative to traditional courtship, envisioning a bold and abundant way of courting.
🔸 Free entrance
🔸 In synergy with Bridderhaus. With the support of the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande Duchesse Charlotte
