L'eau Michel Mud Volcano

Difficulty: Lv3 (Moderate).
Duration: 25mins to volcano/30mins to beach/45mins return to vehicles.
Cost: $50 (Kids $25).

Come take a trip down to Southern Trinidad to explore a natural phenomenon...L'eau Michel Mud Volcano.
Located in Bunsee Trace Penal Rock Road, this mud volcano has a large crater which has expanded over the years due to human intervention.
Whereas some mud volcano have mounds, due to the low viscosity of the mud at this location, there are pool like craters. The mud offers buoyancy which allows bathers to effortlessly float.
On the way back, there's a trail leading to the coastline where you can wash off all that mud before returning to your vehicles.
During the dry season, vehicles can drive straight up to the pits but during rainy season, the roads become muddy not allowing regular vehicles.
