9:30 am – Welcome & Introductions
Kick off the day with a warm welcome from Erin Tree Trust representatives as they share their mission to protect mature trees. Plus, hear from Erin Tree Trust Manager and Stonewall Farm owner, Lee Anne Downey, as she brings the farm’s history to life.
9:45 am – Arborist Demonstration
See the experts in action! Arborist Phil Guenter of Baum Tree Care will show how he and his team preserve the life of mature trees with specialized pruning techniques. Watch a live demonstration of care and climbing and learn professional tree-care tips.
10:15 am – Guided Fall Tree Walk & Kids Scavenger Hunt
Take in the beauty of fall with forest expert Braedon Witt, a Master of Forest Conservation graduate with a passion for connecting people to trees. He’ll guide you on an engaging tree walk—bring your questions!
🌿 Meanwhile, kids can enjoy the walk by embarking on a fun Scavenger Hunt with Tree Trust staff, discovering forest wonders along the way.
11:30 am – Sonic Kinesthetic Forest Workshop
Wrap up the morning with an immersive movement workshop led by Dr. Lisa Sandlos, scholar, arts educator, and choreographer. Through breathwork, improvisation, and guided visualization, participants will explore how movement deepens our connection to the forest. The session ends with time for reflection and discussion.
