Yoga has been linked to social justice throughout history, with many people using yoga as a tool for activism and personal transformation. We will take a brief look at the history of social justice in yoga including the political, spiritual, and civil rights leaders who have used yoga as inspiration and to shape political landscapes.

Each class will include yoga practice and discussion of the intersection of yoga and social justice for modern times.
