The Downtown Erie Farmers Market Pay-What-You-Can Stand is back for 2025! Join us Fridays from 4-6pm (or until produce is sold out) in the Northeast corner of West Perry Square for this summer's Farmers Market. The Pay-What-You-Can model provides access to fresh, locally-sourced produce at little to no cost. Donations are accepted to help with the sustainability of the program.
Erie Downtown Partnership is proud to partner with Erie Food Policy Advisory Council, Build CDC, Hamot Health Foundation, Grow and Glow Urban Collective, Wildfield Urban Farm, Erie Farm to School, the Conscious Food Project at Raintree Farms, and Groundwork Erie to bring this sustainable food access initiative to Downtown. The Pay-What-You-Can model has thrived in multiple locations on the East Side and throughout Erie County.
The stand is made possible by generous support from PSN Labs.
Access to fresh, healthy, and sustainably-sourced food is a vital component for any community to thrive. Getting food to our Downtown residents and increasing food access for all is our top priority for summer Farmers Markets in Downtown Erie and we are proud to partner again with local growers who are making this possible throughout our community.
The first Downtown Erie Farmers Market Pay-What-You-Can Stand will take place Friday, July 11th from 4-6pm and run every Friday through October 17th this year except for August 15th due to CelebrateErie. Stop by after work or on your way Downtown for a night out and catch live music every week, chat with local growers, and support a community-based model for food access and distribution addressing food apartheid in our urban core and throughout the City. Check back for more info soon!
We accept FMNP vouchers (WIC and senior vouchers), cash, and checks.
Huge thanks to our Farmers Market sponsor PSN Labs for making this market season possible!
