New Blossoms New Life Foundation is a local, non-profit organization that was founded 14 years ago by Renea’ and Chris Kovski when they tragically lost their 2-year-old daughter Maggie. The foundation provides financial assistance and emotional support to couples challenged with infertility - with the goal of helping them have a child. New Blossoms New Life Foundation awards grants for costly fertility treatments, as well as, provides mentoring, counseling, and community education.
Entry Fee:
$25.00 per person for Run/Walk and T-shirt. ( T-shirt design coming soon)
$10 Kids 7+ 400M Fun Run and T-shirt. ( T-shirt design coming soon)
$10 Kids 4-6 100M Fun Run and T-shirt. ( T-shirt design coming soon)
$10 Kids 0-3 50M Fun Run and T-shirt ( T-shirt design coming soon)
All proceeds will go directly to New Blossoms New Life Foundation to help couples cover their IVF costs.
A Basket Raffle will be available to those who want to participate (please come early to get tickets in prior to start of race.) Cost for auction will be separate from the race sign up.
Taradoodles will be on hand for face painting as well as sweet treats from Smiley’s Ice Cream Truck
Location/Time:
Penn State Behrend Track & Field Complex. 4712 College Dr, Erie, PA 16510.
9:30 AM start time for kids fun run. 5K to follow directly after. Race chip and T-shirt will be distributed day of race from 7:30-9:15.
Registration:
Online or mail in registration. T-shirts will be provided to those that register before June 25th. Additional T-shirts will be available with late registration while supplies last. Online registration closes 8 pm July 10th. Mail in registration ends July 1st.
Prizes:
Top 3 overall females and top 3 overall males will be awarded prizes for 5k.
