Find Your Story: A Creative Writing Salon with Gina DeMillo Wagner

Have you always wanted to write but don't know where to start? Or are you an experienced writer looking for new ideas? In this workshop, author Gina DeMillo Wagner will show you how to break down barriers to writing and discover your unique story. Inspired by historic literary salons where friends gather to share their love of books, writing, and art — this event offers the space to create something new or advance your writing practice. Gina will share prompts and techniques that will help you confront a blank page with confidence. And she'll answer your writing questions.

All levels are welcome. Come with a notebook and pen. Leave with new friends, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of your creative self.

Bio:
Gina DeMillo Wagner is an award-winning author and journalist. Her writing has been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, Memoir Magazine, Modern Loss, Self, Outside, Psychology Today, and other publications. She is a Yaddo Fellow, a winner of the CRAFT Creative Nonfiction Award, and her memoir, Forces of Nature, won a 2024 Best Indie Book Award. Gina has a master’s degree in journalism and is an instructor at Lighthouse Writers Workshop and Writer’s Digest University. She lives and works in Erie.
