Design Your Own Font @Blasco

Create your own hand-drawn font with the Idea Lab! First, you'll draw or write your letters on a pre-printed template. Next, we'll scan the template and upload it to Calligraphr, a free online converter that transforms your handwritten letters into a custom font. Once your font is finished, we'll show you how to download and save it so you can use it on your home computer.

Free. Registration required. Ages 8 to adult. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Basic computer skills required. If you think you will need extra help to complete this project, please bring a support person to assist you with this class.

Note: if you want to take your font home with you, please bring your email login information, a jump drive, or another means of saving your work.
