Help End Homelessness in Crawford County | Everyone Deserves a Home! Donate to EUMA Aug. 12th – 15th through Crawford Gives!
EUMA (Erie United Methodist Alliance) is committed to ending homelessness in Northwest Pennsylvania by making it rare, brief, and one-time, as Jesus would. We provide safe shelter, basic necessities, and unwavering support to those in need, helping them regain housing stability.
Recognizing the urgent need for housing in Crawford County, EUMA recently acquired two properties in Meadville, totaling 11 housing units, now dedicated to serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We do this by providing emergency shelter and permanent affordable housing in the available units. After moving into Crawford County, EUMA noticed more than ever the need for those facing housing crises.
That’s why we launched Shelter Area Meadville (SAM), a lifesaving seasonal overnight shelter providing warmth, safety, and connection to housing resources for those with nowhere else to turn during the coldest months. Inspired by the established program in Erie, Our Neighbors’ Place (ONP), SAM serves Meadville and Crawford County residents in housing crisis. Through strong partnerships with FCCA, CHAPS, and dedicated volunteers, we are ensuring that homeless individuals and families in Crawford County don’t have to face the bitter winter alone.
But we can’t do this without you. Your support today means:
- A warm, safe place for youth, Veterans, and other individuals on a freezing night.
- A connection to permanent housing for a family in need.
- The opportunity for someone to rebuild their life right here in Crawford County.
Your neighbors need you. Give during Crawford Gives and put our neighbors in need on the pathway to permanent housing.
From all of us at EUMA, thank you. By the way you pray, give and engage, together, we really are ending homelessness in Crawford County! Donate to EUMA Aug. 12th – 15th through Crawford Gives at Crawfordgives.org.
