Reiki Level 1 Certification

Reiki Level 1 training is an introductory course that focuses on self-healing and provides the foundational knowledge and "attunement" to begin practicing Reiki on yourself and others. It is accessible to everyone, requires no prerequisites, and typically involves hands-on practice, guided meditation, and lectures on the history and principles of Reiki.





Key Components of Reiki Level 1 Training
A standard Reiki Level 1 certification course (often 1 days or 5 hours long) includes several key elements:
Reiki History and Principles: You will learn about the origins of Usui Reiki (the most common system) and the five core spiritual precepts.
Reiki Attunement/Placement: A qualified Reiki Master Teacher performs a sacred ceremony to open your energy channels (chakras) and connect you to the universal life force energy, allowing it to flow freely through you.
Hand Positions: You will be taught specific hand positions for conducting a full self-treatment and for treating others in an in-person setting.
Hands-on Practice: A major part of the training is experiential, involving practicing self-Reiki and giving/receiving a full Reiki session with other students.
