We are very exited to host a special partner-workout fundraiser in support of Shannon’s Boston Marathon training, benefiting Dana-Farber and cancer research. Cancer has a nasty habit of touching all of us in some way, including within the walls of CFE. And since Shannon has gone above and beyond for this community for years, now it’s our turn to show up for her and support such a lofty cause.
Here’s how it’ll work:
- Teams of two (MM, FF, MF) can compete in either the Scaled or Rx divisions
- All four winning athletes in Scaled and Rx will each win a FREE month of membership

- Care to donate more? We won’t stop you! You can even pay to play and purchase yourself a better time with PEDs (Performance Enhancing Donations)
- $75 Team Donation → Takes 30 seconds off your final time
- $100 Team Donation → Takes 45 seconds off your final time
- $150 Team Donation → Takes 1:30 off your final time
- Top Team Donation → Takes 2:30 off your final time
(Ex: A team with a $150 donation with a time to complete the workout of 11:37 would have a final score of 10:07).
We’ll also have a 50/50 lottery and raffle prizes worth thousands of dollars including but not limited to; gift cards to local restaurants and businesses, supplement baskets, gift baskets, three months of nutrition coaching and even a weekend getaway. Food and beverages will be provided, so plan to hang out, cheer on your fellow athletes and make a morning of it. Doors open at 7:30am, we’ll brief the workout at 8 and the first heat will kick off at 8:30. Normal morning classes are cancelled.
The workout👇 will be for everyone — all fitness levels welcome, kids, former members and “never have I ever” Crossfitters included. We’ll adjust the workout as needed so no one is left out.
It is Valentines Day after all, so grab your partner and come sweat it out for a great cause so Shannon can take her mind off fundraising and focus on her training the rest of the way!
