Kick off the season with the Snow College Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band! Under the direction of Professor Chris Nelson, Far From Here takes you on a thrilling musical journey across the globe, featuring works by José Padilla, Samuel Hazo, Michelle Fernandez, Shawn Okpebholo, Johannes Brahms, and Benjamin Barker. From Afro-Cuban dances to Japanese Taiko drumming, from Irish folk songs to the grandeur of a German Requiem, this concert promises an unforgettable night of powerful and inspiring music. Don’t miss the first band concert of the year—September 30 at 7:30 PM in the Eccles Center Jorgensen Concert Hall!
