Nature Photography Workshop with Merrill Images (at Mahler Park)

Join pro photographers John and Lisa Merrill of Merrill Images to jump-start your nature photography! They'll help you learn how to 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦, versus take, photos.

Walk through the forest as you take landscapes, botanical portraits, and close-up photos of nature’s beauty - hopefully some birds and wildlife, too! John and Lisa will also share tips to help you create portraits of friends and family enjoying the outdoors.

This workshop is for intended for adults with any level of photography experience. Any camera (including your phone) is welcome at this interactive on-location workshop. Phone camera users will explore powerful features along with apps to extend its capabilities. DSLR and mirrorless camera users can use this opportunity to demystify features and set them up for success in various photographic situations.
