Board members and trustees, Volunteers and sponsors. It is with great as sadness that I must report the passing of one of our own board members mother she has lost her mom. Our community outreach specialist, public speaker and board member Princess Maureen has lost her mother Late Mrs. Angela Oluchukwu Onuzulike on April 10th 2025. Nigeria Rise Project has been inactive in response to recent events and to honor Miss Maureen’s privacy and allow her some time to mourn and grieve respectively. Mrs. Angela was a gentle soul who departed this world too soon.
Her burial ceremony will take place on this Friday, 25th July 2025, as we commit her to eternal rest with pain in our hearts and tears in our eyes.
This moment marks not just a farewell, but the aching silence left in the absence of a mother’s voice,
a guiding hand, a comforting embrace. We grieve a loss too deep for words.
Family, friends, and all who shared in her life are humbly invited to join us as we mourn and honour her memory.
