Of first ever kid book swap!!
Here’s how it works:
📚Starting at 10AM bring ANY book or books you have loved and are ready to pass on. Each age group will have their own table. We will have the following groups:
Board books: 0-3 y/o- max 300 words
Picture books: 4-8 y/o- 600-1000 words
Early readers: 5-8y/o- max 2000 words
Chapter books: 6/10 y/o- 8.5-12,000 words
Middle grade fiction: 8-12 y/o- 30-50,000 words
Young adult: 12+: 45-80,000 words
📚The books can be of any genre, but…the books must be in good shape! They can be well loved but please no rips or tears, musty smelling, or something that has been smushed in the bottom of a bag for the last 14 years.
Please only bring a MAXIMUM OF 5 BOOKS TO SWAP!
📚Starting at 11:00 we will start the swap! We will have a better system in places as far as how we do the swap. 10 at a time pulling tickets until we have pulled the last one!
We will have book themed non alcoholic slushies!
📚 If you bring a book and don’t see one that you like, take your own book back home, or donate it to us! We are working to find a place to donate all of the books that do not find a home!
📚If your book gets chosen and you don’t find a book you love, you can pick one and bring it to the next event to swap out!
