Decorate a small flag for your ice boat. Float your ice boat in a tub of ice water and in a tub of warm water, then describe what happens. Ice paint with us, perform color experiments, and by the way, “How long can you hold an ice cube in your hands? How about in your mouth? What about if you sat on ice?!" Join us to keep cool!
Chipmunk Adventures are classes for preschool children, ages 2-5 years old, accompanied by an adult. Come and join the Chipmunks in exploring our natural world at Aullwood Farm. Plenty of hands-on activities, stories, songs and experiences await. Share the excitement as you visit farm animals, hike in the woods and much more! Different Chipmunk Adventure classes happen one Wednesday a month throughout the year, except summer. Classes meet inside the Farm Discovery Center at Aullwood Farm, 9101 Frederick Pike, Dayton Ohio. Classes may be conducted outside under the Farm Pavilion, so please dress for the weather! We will be on the trails for part of each session. Bev Holland, Environmental Educator, is the teacher for these sessions. Join us as we kindle and cultivate our natural sense of wonder!
