Maligned and misunderstood? - Enfield Poets Literary Festival

A fresh look at Mary Bennett and Mr Collins, two characters generally unappreciated and mocked. How justified is this view?

Valerie Darville has a B.A. in English from Hertfordshire and an M.A. in Gender and Society from Middlesex. An admirer of Jane Austen, she re-evaluates the characters of Mary Bennett and Mr Collins from “Pride and Prejudice”.

This event is part of the Enfield Poets Literary Festival.
