90% of your brain is developed by the age of 7! The early experiences shape our relationships, our behaviour, and our life. As the Greek Philosopher Aristotle said,
“Give me a child until he is 7 and I will show you the man.”
In our presentation, we will explore influences on the brain from;
- Our earliest experiences in the womb & birth.
- Our first year of life, motor development and processing of primitive reflexes.
- The pre-frontal lobe development and its executive functioning.
- Where does chiropractic care in babies, children and adults fit into this?
- The aging brain – effect of sarcopenia, grip strength, proprioception, neuroplasticity on the brain.
Hemi previously gave a talk to ECNH many years ago, since when she has done a Paediatric Masters and further post-graduate education in the function of the brain. Enfield Chiropractic Clinic has grown and now has a team of 5 chiropractors, and it is the clinic’s 35th anniversary in 2025.
