Advent Soup & Sing

WEDNESDAYS IN ADVENT beginning Wednesday, December 3, take a quiet moment to connect. Sit with friends for
a simple supper at 6:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Then we move to worship at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary for a service of
Holden Evening Prayer, accompanied by flute. Our theme this year is Make Ready for Holy Disruption. Preparing for
Christ’s coming is not a matter of having everything under control. Christ’s arrival disrupts – disrupts injustice, sin, and
brokenness in a society in which we are deeply embedded. Come prepare for the holy disruption of God’s inbreaking
promise: Week One, December 3: Breathing, Week 2: Releasing, Week 3 Receiving.
