• 4:00 p.m. - Join us at the Saloon and meet our hosts from Clos Apalta, Victoire Girard and Guillaume Akouka. Sip on a curated selection of fine wines on the Saloon deck as the summer sunset lights up the sky. (Open and inclusive for all lodging guests)
Friday, August 8
• 1:30 p.m. - Join us for a Llama Hike and Wine Tasting Experience at the Lodge & Spa. $250 Per Person, Plus Tax and Gratuity.
Saturday, August 9
• 6:00 p.m. - Join us at The Farm for a gourmet wine pairing dinner in our intimate wine cellar, home to one of the top ten largest wine collections in the world. Enjoy five courses of culinary artistry prepared by the chefs of Cheyenne Club, paired with hand-selected Clos Apalta wines. (Open reservations; $250 per person, plus tax and gratuity)
About Clos Apalta:
Clos Apalta is a wine estate located in the Apalta Valley, a sub-region of Colchagua, Chile. It was founded in 1994 by the Bournet Lapostolle family, and their first vintage was released in 1997. Charles-Henri de Bournet Marnier Lapostolle has led the property as CEO since 2013, and Michel Rolland has been Clos Apalta’s winemaking consultant since the beginning.
The 60-hectare vineyard is laid out in an amphitheater, largely facing southeast. The average age of a vine in Clos Apalta is 80 years old, with the oldest vines dating back to 1915-1920. Clos Apalta has been certified organic since 2009.
The vineyard specializes in red Bordeaux blends, with Carménère reigning as the signature grape variety, along with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. Clos Apalta is renowned for producing two namesake wines, Clos Apalta and Le Petit Clos.
