Workshop: Mosaic Magic with Barb Tamassy

Mosaic Magic, Introduction to Mosaics!
Join your teacher Barb Tamassy who has been practicing and teaching Mosaics for over 25 years, having also completed a course in Traditional Mosaics in Ravenna, Italy in 2013.
During this relaxing, introductory day you will be learning about, and will create an art form dating back 2000 years which is still popular in 2025.

In this workshop you will be introduced to the history, tools and materials used in mosaics and will make a small mosaic piece, giving you the skills and information to then complete your own mosaic artwork. No prior knowledge is required, and all tools and materials are included. You will be instructed how to grout your mosaic and given the materials required to complete this task at home.

All materials supplied. Bring your lunch. There are cafes and grocery stores available to purchase food. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Please contact for special dietary needs.
