What happens at "Slow Start?"

*Complete screenings with staff related to your child's development and health
*Review the parent handbook
*Finish any required enrollment paperwork
*Learn about home activities and "in-kind"
*Complete FREE volunteer clearances so you can attend classroom activities
*Ask questions
*Your child gets to meet some of their new classmates, explore the classroom, play, and complete a special activity

The day and time for your family to attend was scheduled during your initial home visit in the summer, and that day, your center's family service worker gave you a reminder to hang on the fridge. If you don't remember when you're scheduled or need to reschedule, contact your family service worker.
