Get ready for an exciting and interactive program all about biomaterials — earth-friendly, sustainable alternatives to everyday stuff!

You'll explore cool new materials like:

Leather made from yeast and bacteria (no animals needed!).
Mushroom roots (mycelium) that can become packaging and even fire-proof insulation.
Dyes made by tiny bacteria that are super colorful.​
Plus, you'll get to make your very own toy from a special material made of seaweed. When you're done playing, just compost it or bury it, and it will disappear back into the earth!
