In an exclusive new interview, screenwriter Kenta Fukasaku — son of the late director — shares a rare, behind-the-scenes perspective on his father’s vision. Learn how Kinji’s wartime experiences, the 1970s protest movement, and a wave of youth crime in Japan shaped this unforgettable story and his fearless filmmaking approach.
