Winter Spices Field Walk - Emerald

CQUniversity, the Cooperative Research Centre for Northern Australia (CRCNA), Queensland Department of Primary Industries (Qld DPI) AgriVentis Technologies and RDO Equipment will showcase the latest results from the CRCNA Great Northern Spices project with a fennel and kalonji field walk at the Central Queensland Smart Cropping Centre in Emerald.

Local growers, advisors and anyone interested in learning more about the winter spice crops and their suitability in northern Australia are invited to join the research team to examine the crops and find out more about planting, growing and harvesting.
The event will also include a sesame planting demonstration – come and see the summer sesame trials planted.
