Día de los Muertos - A traditional Mexican celebration in honour of our ancestors

The Ramirez Lalonde family is so excited to share with you a special gem that comes from the ancient cultures of Mexico! Día de los Muertos (the day of the dead) - a day to celebrate and honour our ancestors!

This is a wonderful family friendly event where you will have the chance to experience a ceremony in homage to our dearly departed and ancestors. Please come dressed according to the weather as we will be outside for this event.

Here is what to expect:
🚪 5pm - doors open
☕️ Tamales and hot chocolate vendor
🍞 Pan de muertos (traditional bread that is baked for this fiesta)
🎨 Local artisans
💀 Colourful skull face painting
🌼 Ofrenda, a big altar colourfully decorated
🔥 6:30pm - the main event: Ceremonia y danza mexica (ceremony and traditional dance by the Ramirez Lalonde family)

Feel free to bring an offering (piece of fruit, flower, etc.) to place at the altar for your dearly departed.
