Ice Cream Social

Join us for a sweet summer tradition. Lorain County Historical Society’s annual Ice Cream Social will be held on Sunday, July 13, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM on the lawn of The Hickories Museum.

This year’s Ice Cream Social will be even sweeter, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of LCHS’s purchase of The Hickories, marking five decades of preserving and sharing the community’s history through the inspiring stories of the Garford family.

Come and enjoy live music by Solid Brass, a display of antique cars, entertainment by a local magician, and tours of the museum. Each $10 entry ticket includes a slice of pie or cake with ice cream. Buy lunch with our special meal deal – your choice of a hot dog or sloppy joe with chips and a drink for only $5. We will also be selling fresh lemonade! There will be fun raffles, including a 50/50 for The Hickories 50th.
