Ice Cream Social

Save the date for Lorain County Historical Society’s annual Ice Cream Social! Join us on Sunday, July 13 for a charming afternoon on the lawn of The Hickories Museum.

This year’s Ice Cream Social will be even sweeter, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of LCHS’s purchase of The Hickories, marking five decades of preserving and sharing the community’s history through the inspiring stories of the Garford family.

Enjoy ice cream, live music by Solid Brass, a display of antique cars, tours of the museum, and a festive cake cutting ceremony in honor of this milestone. A food truck will be on the grounds for lunch purchases. There will also be fun raffles, including a 50/50 for The Hickories 50th. Bring your friends and family for a relaxing and nostalgic summer gathering. Tickets will be on sale closer to the event.
