Do you have a home project that you're working on re-upholstering? Do you need a little extra support or guidance? Come to this half day upholstery workshop to learn from local experts. Bring your own project, use the tools provided, and tap into the skills of a group to get over your hurdles and leave with a clear path forward on your piece. Projects of different shapes and sizes are welcome, although instructors will vet your piece beforehand to make sure it is appropriate; please be prepared to describe your project in detail and touch base with instructors over the phone or in person before class so they can be prepared to support you best.
Students will have the opportunity to take a break midway through class.
Larger projects are acceptable, but you must transport it in and out.
Please note that an additional materials fee will be paid directly to the instructor (cash or check) depending on your project. The instructor will be in touch with you no less than 5 days in advance of class to give you an estimate of expected materials fee. Because projects may vary widely, materials fee will be calculated on a case by case basis; students may purchase and use their own materials, or purchase necessary materials through the instructors.
