Dancing Freedom: Samhain
(Women-Only Journey)
Join us for a women-only dance journey on the 30th of October — a sacred time that aligns with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced Sow-in).
Samhain marks the end of autumn and the deepening of winter in the Northern Hemisphere — a time of darkness, introspection and honouring the ancestors. It is also the origin of what has now become known as Halloween.
Here in Melbourne, we are in the full bloom of spring. But even as the earth awakens around us, we can use this time to reflect on our inner cycles, personal transitions and notice the things we’re ready to release.
This dance journey invites you to honour your own ancestry, embrace your inner wisdom and move with intention.

**WE DANCE LAST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH**
Class Breakdown
We start with a warm-up and opening circle, then move through an elemental wave of earth, water, fire, air, and ether. After dancing, we’ll integrate the experience and share in a closing circle. Followed by tea and chats.

About Sage
I’m Sage, a passionate music and dance enthusiast with 15 years of experience in the festival and ecstatic dance scene. As a Dancing Freedom facilitator, my aim is to create safe, joyful spaces for people to connect, feel, and express their authentic selves. With a background in nursing and trauma care, I’m dedicated to holding space where healing and freedom can unfold.
