About the event

The Voting Rights Act of 1965: Past, Present, and Future

To go along with our Voices and Votes exhibit, Daniel Lempert will speak on the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Lempert is a current law student at Cornell Law School, where he is on the executive board of the local American Constitution Society chapter. Previously he was Assistant and Associate Professor of Politics at SUNY Potsdam teaching courses on American law and politics.
