Opening Celebration: "The Fusion Arts COLLECTIVE 2025"

Celebrate the Opening of "The Fusion Arts COLLECTIVE 2025," The Community Arts Gallery, Saturday/November 3, 6:00-8:00pm, Artist Talks 6:30pm, Free & Open to the Public at Community Arts of Elmira, 413 Lake Street Elmira, New York, on the Elmira Creative Corridor!

"The Fusion Arts COLLECTIVE 2025" is an arts and cultural program specific to Black, Indigenous and people of color from the Elmira area, ages eighteen and older, with no experience needed, at no cost, and all materials provided. For eight weeks participants work to create lighted, fused glass work based on photographs they took while walking Elmira neighborhoods as the Collective, and then developing fused glass art from concepts of community, identity and connection inspired by that walk and those photographs.

Artwork from the past four programs are also in the 2025 installation.

"The Fusion Arts COLLECTIVE 2023" is a Creative Community Collaboration of Community Arts of Elmira and The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass.

Community Arts of Elmira's programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
