Fused glass garden art features decorative items made by heating compatible glass pieces in a kiln until they melt together into intricate designs, creating durable, vibrant, and unique artistic pieces that are suitable for outdoor display, year round. Design a point of interest for your yard or garden. Students learn to use tools to create a 3" x 12" layered design of glass shapes and stringers. Once fired, the design is attached to a metal stake, finished height approx 28”. As an alternative finishing option, holes can be drilled for hanging. Projects will be available for pick up 2-3 weeks following class.

Class Duration: 2 hours
Parent or guardian sign off required for students under the age of 16.
A few safety notes:
• Safety glasses are required. I will have them available to borrow or purchase. Feel free to bring your own.
• No sandals or open shoes, such as Maryjane styles.
• You may bring something to drink, water, coffee, or soft drinks, in closed containers.
• I recommend that you wear something that covers your legs at least to the knees.
