Who doesn’t want a dog that’s reliable off-leash? From hiking in the woods to running in a park or simply hanging around the house, it would be hard to find someone who isn’t interested in having a dog who listens to them no matter the circumstances.
We will introduce you and your dog to basic commands such as sit, down, stay, place, basic leash walking and come when called. Building upon your dog’s comprehension of basic obedience commands, we will show you how to increase your dog’s attentiveness in the face of everyday distractions.
Your dog can also be off-leash with 100% trust, which has many benefits. It helps tenfold with exercise because they are not confined to a leash, you gain plenty of trust with your dog, socializing is much easier, and it’s a safety issue! So, what is an e-collar used for, exactly? We call it an “invisible leash”. We teach the dog that the e-collar and the leash mean the same thing. The collar is controlled by a remote that the handler holds. The remote allows you to control your dog from up to 400 yards away. Therefore, it gives your dog a lot of freedom and saves you from worrying about your dog running off.
This seminar will take place over 3 days.
Week 1- This will be a 1-hour class with no dog. You will learn how the collar works before using it on your dog.
Week 2- This is a 2-hour class. We will cover how to find your dog's working level, Basic obedience (heel, sit, down, stand)
Week 3- This is a 2-hour class that will cover fun recall games and working with other dogs.
Dogs attending this class must purchase E-Collar Technologies Mini Educator, as it is the collar we use, and all paperwork provided in this course is for this collar.
It comes with a 2-year warranty. It is waterproof and features vibration, stimulation, audible alerts, a light, a half-mile range, and more.
We are accepting six dogs for this seminar. If the weather is nice, we will work with dogs outside.

Dogs should have a good understanding of marker training. A training evaluation for new dogs will be required.
This class is not for dogs with behavioural problems. We will be covering obedience and recall only.
