A Festive Celebration with the Mountain Light Chorus, Members and Friends
This holiday season, Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church warmly invites you, your family, and friends on Sunday December 14 to a vibrant musical celebration that will be sure to lift your spirits. Our Holiday Musical Service features a lively compilation of songs reflecting the spirit of the season and will shine a spotlight on the magic of music, the warmth of community, and the spirit of joy, peace, and goodwill.
The centerpiece of our service will be the Mountain Light Chorus, whose harmonies and heartfelt melodies will create a festive atmosphere for all. This talented group has worked tirelessly to prepare a wide selection of holiday favorites and new gems, ensuring there is something for every musical taste. In addition, the program will showcase individual solos, choral ensembles, and instrumentals performed by members of our congregation and friends. Each selection will offer a unique expression of holiday cheer.
This year, we are excited to involve our audience more than ever! You will have an opportunity to sing along to a medley of classic carols and participate in interactive musical moments. Whether you’re an experienced vocalist or simply enjoy humming along, your voice will help fill our sanctuary with the warmth and joy of the season.
Our Music Director, John Puett, will narrate and direct the program coordinated by Mel Tidwell as the Service Leader.
