Join Taylor Madron owner of The Lavender Place at Haven Hill Farm for this engaging workshop. We will explore the process of cultivating lavender and transforming it into its prized essential oil. Attendees will gain insight into everything from selecting the right lavender varieties, preparing soil, and planting techniques, to managing care during the growing season. We will also dive into the fascinating process of distilling lavender oil, covering various methods, equipment, and the science behind extracting the aromatic oils. After learning about the process, participants will create their very own lavender spray and sachet, two simple yet effective ways to incorporate the calming scent of lavender into daily life. All supplies will be provided."
